Breast cancer is still the most common cancer in women1<\/sup>. Also in Austria. The Pink Ribbon Tour has been carrying out important educational work for the early detection of breast cancer for many years. As one of the main sponsors, we support this important initiative every year to raise awareness of the importance of early detection and screening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JOIN4CARE<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

With the Join4Care Award, MSD honors innovative practice- and patient-oriented projects. New ideas or solutions can be submitted in the areas of process optimization in hospitals, young doctors’ education and training optimization or in therapy management for patients. An independent jury will then evaluate all submissions. The highest rated projects will be presented at the MSD Oncology Days and the winner will receive a prize of EUR 30,000. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

VOLUNTEER DAY<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

On Volunteer Day, MSD supports socially committed local organizations. As part of the program, MSD gives all employees time for social commitment. All employees can take part in voluntary activities during working hours to support charitable organizations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

ZOOLAUF<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Every year, MSD employees take part in the Vienna Zoo Run and run the six-kilometer course through Sch\u00f6nbrunn Zoo for a good cause. The Zoolauf creates a platform that puts the spotlight on the previously unknown topic of pulmonary hypertension. By taking part, we want to support pulmonary hypertension patients, promote the initiative for research into pulmonary hypertension and raise awareness of this important disease.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
